Here is another frustreting experience.
me and my wife had filed AP and EAD thru lawyer on 18th May 2005.Nothing happened (as usual). I called after two months to TSC and as usual no meaningful conversation . Me and my wife filed EAD thru efiling (just EAD).gone for FP and got approved in next 8-9 days (the new one).The old one (very long story but will try to make it short).My old EAD and AP travlled the world (2-3 service center) and finally I given up . to save 165 $ I just efiled my wife AP .Got RFE (photo ,they missed and wanted us to resend) for both applicant's regarding OLD AP case. I send the reply in one envelop ,mine and my wife's photo along with covering letter.Guess what ? They approve just my wife's old AP application not mine.We had to laugh.
no escape ,please pay 165. my wife and son gone to India.I waited and due to old habit some times called 1-800-USCIS-sucks.One day I written a long letter to TSC (hard copy) and proved my urgency to go India.And requested the USCIS in a very sarcastic (very sarcastic as I am now fearless after retro,they can't do any more damage) letter to know when they think will be able to approve or reject my AP ? nothing happened for 1 month.After 1 month on X-mas day( 25 th dec 2005) one lady called me on my cell and talked to me and requested to resend my Photo (third time) . I told her no problem and appreciated her honesty of admitting that they screwed up my ap.She given me her personal address and asked me to send photos directly to her.
I send the photo on 3rd Jan as I was in Disney and enjoying theme park as u don't need GC there.
She called me on this monday (again martin luther holiday) and promised me to approve the case before friday.Today I checked the email and found my AP approval.OLD 2 EAD application and one new AP still pending (of my wife).
Every transaction of my GC journey is/was/will be a mile stone for me.
I am happy, will be able to meet my parents very soon .
