I am in canada right now and i filled for refugee status here in 2003 but it got refussed and now they want to deport me back to USA just wanted to find out if i will be able to apply for asylum in USA when i get deported there. Also i got married to a green card holder couple of months ago she is going to be a citizen in a month or so what would be the right way for me to get back to USA.Is there anything else which i can do to get into USA for example can i file for something like adjustment of status or something at the border?
Would it be better to go back to my home country and apply there and wait a lot of lawyers think its going to take much longer if i go back to the home country.

I would recommend to wait for a month until your wife get neturalized and then file I-130 through your wife. I know some illigal guys who were able to get out of detention centers here in U.S after getting merried to american citizen. Just wait for another month until your wife get her citizenship and merry her while being in Canada if canadians will allow you to stay for another month.

Why would the Canadian immigration deport you to the U.S. if you are not a citizen or resident of the U.S.?

Marriage to a U.S. Citizen or Resident for that matter without any defined U.S. Immgration status would not render you admissible to the U.S. ( Someone correct me if I am wrong on this opinion.)

PS: This is just a thought on my part. What is your take?
