Asylum inteview + disability access

Maybe someone will know the answer.

I have filed an asylum application 2 days ago, so I still have some time until biometrics and interview dates. Once I receive the receipt number, can I fax USCIS and ask for my interview to be moved to Boston instead of NJ office due to my disability - I can't travel for so long and sit for so long in my wheelchair (it would add up to over 24hrs)? Or should I wait until I get the date for biometrics and then ask if they could meet me half way in Boston?

Also, has anyone here had an asylum interview (affirmative process - I am here legally)? I suppose it is not like in movies with two-way mirror in police station with two scary interrogators? :) I am not making up anything and I have plenty of police, court and medical documentation, US papers documenting my story, etc., as well as my disability to prove of past persecution.... but it still makes me nervous. If anyone went through it, could you please share you experience? I have never met an asylum seeker to know of other peoples' experience during the process.

Thank you!

p.s. what is the "tags" underneath this window?
