Has anyone here ever undergone an asylum interview? I am contemplating of filing an asylum, with supporting documents (I am also here legally, that is, I am not facing deportationi n the case my asylum us denied), but am curious what is the interview like. Is it like in movies when cops are interviewg a criminal and are being held in those rooms with a one-way mirrors, or what? I have no idea what to expect when I let my self enter this world of legal mumbo-jumbo and paperwork.

thank you!

They pretty much do whatever necessary to make a decision on your case. A friend of mine was called for a second and a third interview. Maybe the one-way mirrors did not work the first times. Who knows. Make sure you get an attorney. A very experienced one can make the difference.
