asylum interview done!!then when is the result

Hey Guys,

I got my asylum interview today ,and i guess it was fine because it was a woman and she was not kind of hard but at the end of the interview,the woman gave me a paper telling me that they will send the results by mail and that i don't need to come an take it there but actually it never specified the number of weeeks as i was thinking,Does it mean it will take more time or less time.

Did she seem convinced with your answers? You can tell by looking at one's gestures. Wait times depend on which country you are coming from. If middle east or south east then you might go thru extended security checks and could take months to a year. Also if your AO is flooded with cases then even if your decision could be ready it will take them longer to process it.
