Asylum in the USA for LGBT+ / politically active people?

The last sentence especially caught my attention: "The fundamental problem is that anyone can claim asylum with zero proof, which means all of Earth can come to America."

Like wow. Is this true? Do they really grant asylum based on none/weak evidence of danger? Some of the asylum seekers I spoke to, said that it's not that easy

As far as I know, asylum seekers are being released to the US anyway. Is it also true for those who are doing it through the phone app called "CBP One", and staying in Mexico before coming to the port of entry?

How easy/hard is it to get asylum for a trans / politically active people?
It's especially interesting for people from Russia, Iran, Belarus and etc.

Elon Musk is a son on migrants his father is a south African his mother is Canadian so he is a first generation of migrants , all his money not going to change that , it’s strange that first generation migrants hates new migrants so much no matter what ant who they are this person is very réticules he should focus on his business I guess not hating on poor people who are trying to flee persecution even though the majority of people who cross border illegally are economic migrants but they are also many who flee persecution tbh .
