As some of you know I was granted asylum almost a week ago, and I just came back from this place called Youth Co-op, basically what they do is they will help you look for a good job, and tell you most of the benefits you get as an asylee.
For example, getting free English classes in your nearest Community College, Different kind of fast learning programs, free physical exams and vaccination.
They also mentioned there are different college fees for student, beside financial aid, but im not sure about that cause i never heard of that.
Also said that using this help the federal government provides will absolutely not interfere, prejudice, or stop them from granting you the GC and Citizenship.
They mentioned something about some other kind of program, family children i believe is called, that provides medicaid for 8 month and food stamps and cash if you need it and qualify, but i don't need it and prefer not to use it.
