Asylim from Germany?

I`m a newcomer in your company,but I enjoy so much reading and learning from your threads.you look like axperts to me.
If I manage to post this letter ,please, give me your oppenion:
Can I apply for asylum from Germany?What kind of reason should be?
Explain,please ,what does it mean LIN NUMBER?

Well, did Germany offer you residency? If so, i do not think the Immigration will grant you one. I would contact the American embassy in your German town and ask them. LIN = I know the N goes back to nebraska so the whole thing means that you filed in nebraska and every receipt number of an application filed there starts with LIN then the year it is filed then the day on the fiscal year that starts with october first then a unique assigned number that day. So if you filed in october 5th 2003 your receipt number will start with LIN 03 005 xxxxx the x is a unique number that is assigned to you that day. Tell us more about your condition and you will get further answers. Good luck

good observation Gebre,
I meant 2002 so to reiterate if you apply on october, 5th 2002, your lin should be lin 03 005 xxxxx
