am an asylee. looking for others.

<http://www.visalaw.com/nebraska.html>: this website says USCIS is currently processing 12/2000 asylee adjustments, whereas USCIS official site says it is still March 30 2000. Which one should I believe? Anyone Please?

Actually, you sgouldn't believe either of these dates. INS is back dating their processing dates from Mach 2000 to Dec 99.

Yeah, I noticed that on the uscis.gov website. what in the world is going on? they processd fewer cases (like 2000) in one of the years. arent they required by law to make up for that at least. and why can't this law of 10,000 per year be changed altogether? they are bringing in 50,000 more from overseas every year (and they get GC right away), yet I have been lingering here for the past 6 yrs, paying taxes, still without a GC? that's not fair.

We all share the same frustration. I know exactly how you feel. There more than 22000 unused visas that USCIS haven't used over the past year. That's why they were being sued and USCIS lost. Ngwanyia Ashcroft case. Right now they are negotiating. If those visas are made available to us, boy we'll see a real jump........
