asylee adjustment of status---->interview?

There are many possibilities next: You may be asked to provide further evidence (Request for Further Evidence RFE), and this includes proof of stay in America. Or, you may be just asked to go to the local immigration office to receive your temporary green card (I-551). In very rare cases, people were interviewed. Can you post your dates in terms of your Asylum approval date, I-485 application date so that i can give you an estimate on when to expect your green card. The person in question was approved directly in June 1999. He most probably filed his I485 at the one year anniversary, so let's say roughly June 2000. Both his kids are here (we filed within the 2 year period that is allowed to get them here under the asylee status.). He did his fingerprints in May 2004. Thank you for your answer. Yes, if you have any idea of timing, it would be great. The only difficult point in case of an interview would be the absence of tax returns...does it matter?
