Assist. to Assoc. Prof

Hello everyone,

I have been reading AC21 memo and the posts. My case is EB1 (OR/ Prof.), no labor, I-140 AD Dec 2004, I-485 RD Feb 2005.
I understand after 180 days of filing I-485 I can change jobs for better prospects.

Job title on my approved I-140 is assist. prof / director of the department. Now if I switch jobs, it will be assoc. prof . and no directorship but 90% samilar job description. Do you think it complies with AC21 rule?

Being on EB1 and not having LC, do you NEED to invoke AC21 at all? I think it's simply not needed, as all you need to show is that you are in the same general field. Ask your lawyer, though.
