Called IIO. My case was assigned to an officer. The IIO told me the processing time depends on the officer - each has a certain number of cases assigned to him/her each week. Some get through them that very week, but most don\'t - that creates backlog, but they keep getting new cases to that keep piling up. That\'s why processing times vary so drastically. The IIO refused to give any estimates or any more details. Keep my fingers crossed.
