In 2001, I hired an attorney helping my Green Card application in three categories of EB1A, EB1B, and LC-RIR.
In 2002, my attorney filed my I-140/I485 concurrently in the category of EB1A. Unfortunately, the I-140 was denied after REF in May, 2003. Later, I asked the attorney refiling my I-140 in the category of EB1A. She refiled my I-140 in Oct.3, 2003. And the refiled I140 has been approved in Feb 15, 2005 after I submitted REF.
And then , when I asked my attorney what I should do next step , she suddenly told me my I485 was already denied. It shocked me a lot because I never received any denial notice from either USCIS or my attorney. I am so frustrated about it. I asked her to give me a copy of the denial notice last week, but she hasn't reply me till now.
I would like to know if I can ask USCIS to reopen my I485?
Or I had to refile my I485 base on my approved I140?
Which way is better for me?
I appreciate you very much for any help, idea and suggetion.
