Hi there,

I am the winner of DV2005AS83xx. I got the first notice from KCC in July 2004 and sent them back all the required documents. I called KCC a few months back and I was told they have received my documents and it is already processed. But I'm still waiting for my number becomes current.

As you may know, Asia's cut off numbers is increasing very slowly which is around 200 to 700 per month. That is 7250 for May 2005 which is very small number as compared the same month of recent years. I have checked the Asia’s cut off numbers for recent last years and they were all around 10000 to 11000.

1-Anybody knows, what is approx. limitation of number of visas for Asia (2005)?

2-Can I hope that my number becomes current before Sep 2005 so I get chance to be interviewed?

Any information regarding this will be appreciated.

I am one of the winners in DV2005 from ASIA with case number 10xxx.I am so worry like you about this year because it is increasing very slow.My situation is exactly like you.nobody knows the limitation for ASIA.I think you have a good case number and maybe it will be current in JUNE or JULY.I hope it increase during next 4 months rapidly.Would you keep your cantact with me to have more information about the interview and the others subjects?Are you Iranian?

I'm also from the Asia and my # is AS40xx. Currently, I'm in the US and I'm thinking to apply for status adjustment by next month. What do I need to do to file? What are the chances for me to get GC?

Your case number (AS40xx) is so low and it is already current. I think your interview's date had been scheduled around 4,5 months back.Have you called KCC regarding this and whether you have received the second package?
Unfortunately I'm not much familiar with AOS process since it's for the people who are currently staying in US.
