Currently I am a asian country citizen and i won the green card lottery 2011. im expecting my interview in may. in end of june i wanted to be in a europe country for a wedding.in this case what should i do??
backround info:
im a student and in order to get the in-sate tution fee feature i wanted to get into US asap, so i wish to travel US immidetly after my interview, in that case i can get the europe visiting visa from the europe country embassy in my country(its difficult to get it in US bcz of the employers letter, asset details, etc required by that embassy)

and my quetion is
as i can enter to USA in may how long it will take to get my green card??
and when i leave USA (within a week) with the visting visa of that country, is it possible to re-enter to USA without the green card. im expecting stay in that country for one and half month. (but still im a LPR as i already enter to US)

Are you a student at a US college, with legal immigration status? If yes, what is your immigration status? F1, J1, H4, or something else? I hope you understand that most states (probably all) will require you to live in the state for a year in a legal status other than F1 or J1, in order to qualify for in-state tuition. So you probably won't immediately become eligible for in-state tuition when you become an LPR.

Why do you think the standards for a visa will be easier at the European country's embassy in your own country?

Anyway, when you first enter the US with the lottery immigrant visa, you will receive a stamp in your passport that will temporarily allow you to exit and reenter the US without the physical green card. The green card usually arrives 2-4 weeks after your initial entry.
