As a GC holder can I marry F1 holder

Hello guys,
Can some one help me in this issue. I got my GC in 2000 oct. Now iam looking to get marry with a F1 holder who is staying in US for the past 1 1/2 yr. Here are my questions
1. After I get marry can I able to transfer her Visa to GC?
2. Is there any other ways for her to maintain her status to stay back in US.
3. I will be applying for citizenship in 2007 apr. Will it help her.
4. What about K Fiancé visa. If we get marry in the next 3 months and later once i become citizen, can I apply K-visa for her.
5. To do any of these do I need to apply for I-130 or I 485 forms before I get citizenship?

Of course you can but it'll take a few years before she got her GC, make sure she maintain her current status or not out of status otherwise she has to wait until you get your citizenship that way her status is forgiven.

2. Is there any other ways for her to maintain her status to stay back in US.
I would keep her F1 status for now or if she already graduated. Tell her to look for a job that would sponsor her and make sure the H1b quota is still available.

3. I will be applying for citizenship in 2007 apr. Will it help her.
Yes, if she wants to wait, it actually faster this way.

4. What about K Fiancé visa. If we get marry in the next 3 months and later once i become citizen, can I apply K-visa for her.
K1 Visa or fiance visa is only available if she is out of the country. That is waht visa for to get in to US. So if she is already in US you cannot apply for fiance visa for her.

5. To do any of these do I need to apply for I-130 or I 485 forms before I get citizenship?
You can apply for i130 and i485 before or after you get your citizenship. The different is the length of time. So it's your decision.

Correction: As a GC holder, he can only apply for I-130 at this moment. When I-130 is approved and PD is current, only then he becomes eligible to apply for I-485.

Thank you guys for your valuable comments. But here again my questions are that,
1. After I become citizen in what visa i can sponsor for her. is it dependent visa or GC?
2. How about this scenario, Let say I get marry her while she is in F1 or H1b status and later when I become Citizen, Can I apply for dependent visa for her?

After you become USC, you can sponsor her a greencard(GC)

Yes, you can sponsor her a GC, she won't need any visa. She will get a conditional GC for two year that can be removed to permanent after two year of marriage.

After you become USC, you can file for her GC. Answer will be same for your second question too.
 
f1 marrying GC

Hi all.
Your response / feedback is appreciated.
I am a new F1 who came to US a month ago. My fiance is a 2 1/2 yr old GC (around the same time left for his citizenship). When is a good wait time to get married ? 30 days 90 days ? or it dosent really matter. I also understand that its not safe to reenter the country after getting married since it might show intent.
