Arrested but case dismissed-affect GC?

I was arrested in my previous marriage for domestic violence after my abuser ex-husband falsely accused me of being the abuser. At the pre-trail, the case was dismissed. I have all the paperwork. I left him after that and 5 years have passed since the divorce.

My LC just got cleared. Will I stand a chance of getting a GC?
My I140/I485 papers have not been filed yet.

Don't worry, but

You should not worry about it as long as you have the paper work from the court. But you need to answer YES to the question in the I485 application that asks about this, and attach papers for explanation. Good Luck
