Arlington Transfer Case EAD renewal Question.

I applied for EAD renewal to VSC on October 24rth.My i-485 was trasnfered to Arlington (on Nov9th) and so i am sure my EAD application will also follow.

EAD (current) is valid till January 31st.

1) To be on the safer side can i apply for EAD again with the local office?

2)If EAD does not come by JAn 31st...does Arlington VSC issue interim EAD?
