Are there any issues with H4 to execute the EAD?

EAD approved Aug 22

My question is if my wife gets a Job and executes her EAD then she loses her h4 status. Can there be any draw backs with it in the future. i.e. incase 485 gets rejected etc. Any thoughts please?

I have been trying to find answers to similar questions I have but didn't as yet.
My questions are,
1. Can I still maintain my H1 if my wife uses her EAD to work?
2. If the answer to the above is yes, then what will she need to do to go back to H4 in future if needed?
