Are processing dates accurate?

Presently, TSC is processing cases received June 15, 2006. I see a lot of approvals with RD's after this. Am I missing something here?

Thanks ... that's good because I filed mine on Dec 7 and the way it's going, will get an approval hopefully by the end of Feb.

Isn’t it normal if the approval is not outside of its processing date?

I forgot to mention that I am not under premium processing. I am assuming that the fast approvals are under PP. (?)

How long does regular processing usually take for the I-140?

Hi Crammm:
I also have a receipt date of Dec 7 and am checking the status daily to see if it is going to be approved. Mine is also not being premium processed. So we have a similar situation. Please let me know if you receive any updates and I will do the same. I think regular processing at TSC typically takes between 1.5-2 months.

Chitchat...will do that. It's good to know that they are processing cases faster now. Good luck!

I got my GC a month after submitting my application.

I used PP for my I-140 and I guess it sped up my application for my GC.

Good Luck in getting yours.

Hi Pacardoc,
Congratulations on getting your GC. I have been in touch with my attorney through my HR about PP-ing my I-140 and they said that the I-485 and I-140 are independent of each other. So PP-ing the I-140 does not speed up approval of I-485. I also do not see a correlation between the two based on people's RDs and ADs posted on web sites. I have been told it is an unnecessary expense and have noted that TSC processes cases quickly whether it is PP or not. 2 of my colleagues did not PP their I-140 and got it approved within 1-2 months. It has just been a month since my receipt date. What do you or others advise?

Thanks.
