Are F-1 and EAD originals required for the CP process?

I have misplaced my F1 (student visa) papers, and my EAD plastic card the year I worked between undergrad and graduate school was lost when I lost my wallet.

Does anybody know if the original documents are required for the consular process? I might be able to get photocopies from my school (maybe!). If I can\'t find photocopies, I\'m not too sure what to do...

I don\'t think they are needed for the CP process. They are not part of the required documentation. They might be part of the optional documentation you need to carry in case they ask for them. I guess if you have copies that should do.

Its better to be safe than sorry at the consulate
