Are emails to Don Neufeld working?

Folks,

With all due respect to all the hard work that several of the folks are doing with the email campaigns, I feel that they haven't been that effective. On the contrary, I feel that the officials that we are sending emails too are flooded with emails each morning, and may not even distinguish one from the other.

Experience indicates that in struggles like these, we should perhaps change the nature of our campaign. Rather than sending emails, we should aim to meet up with the USCIS officials and submit out petitions in person. Rajiv Khanna and his office should be commended for their true and dedicated support but we should also request a broader lawyer community to help arrange meetings with the USCIS officials.

Every few months, we hear about AILA meeting with USCIS and I am wondering if some of us plaintiffs could be part of such meetings as well and be able to highlight our plight.

Thats my 2 cents.

Fear not my friend, BCIS has advancecd spam blocking software and all emails from us end up in their trash box directly.

Hi, cal_aos_waiting,

Thanks for your opinion about our campaigns.

Most of participants understand it is not effective enough.
It's only the first step of our activities.

That's a good idea.

This is the activity of this COMMUNITY.
Each of us has to work.

Let's do that.

Can you (or somebody) take the initiative ?

Yes, I would be willing to talk to the lawyers' community to see if they can help us highlight our plight DIRECTLY to the USCIS officers. However, just like the I-485 petition, we should also get some individuals whose cases are indeed pressing.
