I have PP stamping appointment this week. Is it OK to take the digital photos for stamping ? I used them for my daughter's US passport also and it went well.

Is there any one who was denied the stamping due to digital photos even if they are clear and on Photo paper ?

No. It's not OK. Legally it's not allowed. Sometimes officer cannot make out the difference, but don't count on it.

The reason digital not allowed is not because of clarity, but in digital picture the image can be manipulated.

I took my photos from Costco, they used digital camera and gave the pictures back in 5 minutes.
I had no problems in PP stamping at all using these photos.

With time and advance of digital printing technology, it's becoming diffcult to make any difference between emulsion print and digital print. That makes USCIS policy (no digital picture) obsolete. However, unfortunately this policy still stands and better to follow as long as it stands.

Digital photos are fine.

Digital photos would work.We got our GC more than 6 months ago.For PP stamping we submitted digital photographs only.Infact we took them in our house with a digital camera and printed passport sized photos on a photopaper and cut them to exact size. Each sheet had about 16 photos.we did not spend a penny. If you are not comfortable with that you can have the digital photos taken outside. And we received our cards without any problem.

This is just my experience I am sharing.

Thanks

Some service centers have photo services within their premises. Like Boston...they have photo services within their waiting lobby. I went for my wife's stamping with digital photos. But when i saw the photo service there, paid another 10 bucks and took new photos.
Check if the service center you are going have photo services (this would be 3rd party of course).
