I recently discovered that my moms date of birth i gave to KCC on my forms is wrong. this is because she told me she was a certain age and I used that to compute her year of birth since I know her birth day date however I recently came accross her National ID card and realised it said she was 2 years older. can i write to KCC to make my correction or will it mean Am disqualified since I signed that the information I gave was true to my best Knowledge? Also given that I have a high case number and expect my interview from July to september will it result to un necesarily long background check?

I successfully updated my information with KCC recently. You have not sworn that it is true yet, you don’t do that till you interview.

Now, using these links:

Figure out what you need changed then email KCC with the form number the question and correct information. They should amend it for you.
Remember in your email to include:

Full name
Case number
DOB

They should change the information for you.

The premiliminary information on the first form is not particularly binding as you did not sign or swore. This will be done i believe on the interview day so if you need to make any changes, this is the time to do it.
