are approvals in order of rfe received ?

tt tt

Registered Users (C)
so far who ever has rfe received by dec 13 or so seem to be getting approved...is this a likely trend...

CSC standard procedure and 6-month processing standard

According to the CSC's standard procedure,
the CSC will most likely send the RFE to almost all I-485 applicants when his/her case being picked up,
because the backlog had already reached 15 months.

Even if replying immediately,
it may take another 2-3 months after that.

I wonder if the INS understand the President's backlog initiative that ensures no more than a six-month processing standard for all applications.
That initiative has $500 million budget each year, and we may think that major part of that budget is paid by I-485 EB applicants like us.

I don't think tt that approvals are in the order of rfe received ...
It is still random but the trend i see that RD & ND are taking preference.

Nothing happened to me

I have a RD 10/03/01, and ND 11/07/01

RFE has been sent in Nov, and been received on 12/20/02.
