Are AP Approvals at a standstill?

I have not seen any AP approvals in over a month. As per Murthy bulletin, Holidays did not constitute a reason for expedite processing. The irony is so many of us are waiting for normal processing and USCIS gives justification for expedite processing but has no answer for normal processing.

What abt processing AP cases in 60 days???
 
our lawyer said it's taking 4-5 months for AP approval

Due to additional security checks.

We filed for 3rd AP on Sep. 15th 2003. No news yet.

Hopefully the extra security checks being done will also result in your 485 approval along with AP approval..
 
Hi Forum,

Thats good that you got the walk-in AP/EAD.

Did you have to show your tickets becuase I do plan to go there but I do not have my tickets.

Also can you tell me more abt the visit. When u reached, what is the procedure etc. Do you have to carry photos or they take it there?

Thanks for your response. One more qt. How many copies of Parole did you get. I had got 3 copies for my 2nd AP (assuming they take away 1 at the airport when coming back) from VSC last year.

And do you know what happens to our pending AP application at VSC

They give 1 copy, I gave photocopy to the airline official in India. Not sure what happens with the pending application, mine is still pending....now more than 120 days..don't know what they are doing?

Are u still in India. I was concerned what happens when u come back at the US airport. If they take away the original, you are left with no copy. What if u want to go outside again..

I came back last week, I gave photocopy in India and here in US they made a copy themselves, they don't take original, parole is mostly for multiple trips so same can be used later...
 
I thought they were on standstill, (I have already, in fact given up since I've been waiting for more than 8 months now !) until I received RFE 2 weeks ago. RFE was for my I-140 - INS can't find the approval record for it. Luckily my lawyer has the copy of the approval receipt.
