AR11 Question

My wife and I are filling I751 with our current address this in a couple of weeks. The problem is that when i got approved for my GC back in Dec 2004 i never changed my address with INS. Morever, i had moved after my interview in sep 2004 when three months later my GC got approved and was sent to my old address(brothers house). Would this affect me becase my lease(which is one of my evidence i am submitting) shows that i moved on 10/04.
However i just filled out the AR11 about 6 weeks ago and mailed it . Will this affect me?

Thanks

No, it shouldn't. Don't worry about that.

I stressed about this too when we went for our 130/485 appointment, (we had moved 3 months earlier, but my parents still lived at the old address) and the officer said that as long as we were still receiving mail there, it was okay (our lease showed our new address too). The only thing to be careful of is that if you have your mail forwarded, you should send the ar11 to DHS, service center and local office or else you won't get whatever they send you. We learned this the hard way and ended up receiving my husband's gc 4 months later after updating our new address. I hope that helps.
