We moved and so we filled AR-11 on 7/30/03 and also updated BCIS over phone.We got a letter from BCIS dated 8/11/03 confirming the change.The copy of the letter was also marked to my Attorney.Could you please guide me whether the case has been assigned to the officer ?

It may not mean you case has been assigned - i have seen other people post on this forum about them getting a change of address confirmation letter.

I think it is a standard procedure they have just introduced!
 
Followup on AR-11

What is the no. one needs to call to update the address??
I already sent the AR-11 form last week, so thought of calling them now.

Does changing the address delay 485 Processing? I just got my address changed a month ago and I received address change confirmation letter.
