I had some questions on fillling out AR-11:
- I need to enter a "A" number. I just changed employers on H1B and have yet to get my approval notice for h1b change. My understanding is that the i-94 number remains the same,soI can use my old i94 card to get the "A" or 1-94 number. Is that correct?
- What should I put in for Port of entry and date of entry into US. I came to US for the very first time on a F1 visa back in 2001. Should i use that date (2001)?
- It asks for an expiration date of my US stay. Is that just the date my i-94 is valid for? and again since i've not received my h1b change approval documents, can I use my old i94?
- We are required to file this form within 10 days of address change. Does that mean 10 days from the point that I get the keys/physcially move in or from the time I sign the lease etc?
