I have got GC (EB-3) 4 months back (I got the plastic too) and I may get laid off next week. I am expecting to get a letter of lay-off from employer in case of lay off. Meanwhile I have made all arrangements to shift to a new apartment in 4 weeks from now as my current lease is expiring.
1. In the AR-11 form, what should I fill in for the employment details in case I am laid off before I move to new apartment? Can I leave that section blank or can I put the present employer as I would be getting severance pay for 4/5 months. I am not sure how long before I can find a new job.
2. Would it be a problem that I had to change the employer before 6 months (eventhough I have got the termination letter from the employer)?
