Ar-11 @ NSC While 485/140 is Pending

Dear All,

1) If the I-140 and I-485 is pending, The Address change is done only for
I-485 and Not I-140??

2) I have called the INS and changed address on 485 application as well submitted AR-11 form to London, KY

3) I was told by the officer that, for the I-140 application, Employer should call them

4) Employer says it is not required to change the Address on I-140

5) Attorney says it is not required to change the address on I-140, and they dont do that

Can somebody confirm if it is required? Has anybody done this before?

Thanks for your help

Well, i changed my address when my I-485 was pending, and i sent the AR-11, but for real, it did not work, i never call the INS neither.

But i told with my lawyer and he sent a letter to the INS, in Nebraska, and they change the address, sent me a letter to confirm and create a LUD in the file for it.

The AR-11 is just for track the immigrant people here, but it will not show the changes in your INS papels.

Recommend to sent a letter to INS from your lawyer about update your case.

Hope to help.

Call them

CAll NSC and give them the LIN number and tell them that your address is changed. They will change it on specific case and send you the confirmation letter as well.
