Hello Friends:

Where we need to mail the AR-11 change of address form ? I am planning to send by US certified mail. Can I send to the P.O. box 7134, London, KY OR do I need to send to 1084-I South Laurel Road, London, KY (which says for commercial over night mailing only) ?

My question is if I send by certified mail..to P.O. Box address......can we get the return receipt for our records ?

I appreciate if you share your experience. Thanks.

Of Course

Only USPS has access to P.O. boxes. So all overnight "commercial" goes to the other address.

You can send to PO address and you will receive the receipt. But in any case you should call your service center and make sure that the address on ALL your applications are changed to the new address. AR-11 does not automatically do it (although it should).

Address change

Thanks.

I am planning to send by US certified mail to the address for commercial overnight. Is that OK?

OR we have to send only to that PO box address ?

Please share your comments. Thanks

I also need to change the address

As I under stand from all this
1. Need to send AR-11 to with signature confirmation USPS (certified mail)
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
Immigration and Naturalization Service
Change of Address
P.O. Box 7134
London, KY 40742-7134
2. Call respective service center and change address and make sure for all pending application EAD, AP, 485,140, for all family members.

Another question, for any reason if they send things to old address then does forwarding request to USPS send this to new address?

I dont think Immigration stuff is forwarded. I maybe wrong though. If it says "no forwarding" you wont get it.

Another question for AR11

My H1 would get exipre soon, and I would be on my EAD,
AR11 has one question
IF NOT A PERMANENT RESIDENT< MAY STAY IN THE US EXPIRES ON: Date?
what should be this. one which is from I94?

And as I have filled I485. I got my A number, so we can write this A number in this form also?

Thanks

Sanjaypatel9,

You should right ' I-485 Pending'
I wrote that after asking my Lawyer.

Also INS documents/letters do get forwarded to your NEW address if you have given forwarding info to USPS.
ONLY THING THAT IS NOT FORWARDED IS YOUR GREEN CARD.
I recieved my EAD renewal by forwarding mail

AS per my Lawyer you should also send a formal change of address letter(no form) to the VSC(address on your 485 receipt) and mention your A#.That should take care of change of address on all your applications since A# is their unique key
