1. May I know if we have to mail an AR-11 when applying for citizenship even if you didn't change your address.

2. When you received a schedule for fingerprinting, can you just walk-in at any day before your scheduled fingerprinting?

Thanks:)

1. You need to file AR-11 every time you move while you are in any status other than a US citizen. If you moved and have not notified USCIS about your address change, I would do it as soon as possible.

2. You can try and do a walk-in but it will depend on the office whether or not they will take you. Typically, you need to have a good reasons for not being able to attend your scheduled finger printing.

1) No, if your address has been the same since the last time you updated it with USCIS, then you don't have to send in the form. If for some reason you moved and did not inform them, then yes, file the form.

Although, if you are sending in N-400, you will be required to arite your current address and that is the address that you will get all you NoA's to.

2) Walk-ins are only allowed at certain fingerprinting service centers. When you get your notice and the address of the service center for the FP. go to the USCIS website and look up the office, it will tell you if walk-ins are allowed or not.
