I check the online status, our cases have been approved on 09/17/04. I am waiting for the mail. I am living in NYC, any one could share the stamp info with me in NYC? How to schedule the time? or the appointment time is on the approval letter? What document we need, an do we need photo for that ? what kind of photo? The same kind of photo in passport or in our EAD?

Congratulations!
if it is not a problem, could you please provide more details about your case like when did your FP and other details.

I don't live in NYC so I can't answer your question. But I guess, you have to schedule an appt. on Infopass to begin with.

Is that the infopass number on the approval letter, so we can call and make an appiontment? Dose it list all the documents we need to do the PP on the letter?

Help

Can any one tell me if they have ever traveled home on their travel Document papers. We r going to Ireland in December. He pays his taxes. My husband is applying for his Green Card. I-485. Does anyone know the waiting time in NYC. Our Aplication date is March 9, 2004.

Congratulations!

I had my passport stamping done in 26 Federal Plaza in NYC on the 11th. You will need to set up and infopass appointment. You can schedule an infopass appointment here: http://infopass.uscis.gov/

At the time of the appointment you will need to following:

Printout of the Infopass appointment
Approval Notice ( Courtesty copy is fine)
Front facing Passport style photo ( 2)
Valid Passport
Any valid Advance Parole or EAD (They asked me for it - They keep it)

I took an appointment for Friday @ 10 am. Both me and my wife were out of the building by 11 am. Went pretty smooth and fast.
Good Luck.

Hi irishpetal124,

Yes, I have traveled using Advance Parole (if that is what you are referring to) while my I-485 was pending. Since there is a US Immigration Office in Dublin/Shannon, they examine your Advance Parole before you board your plane. It can take 20 minutes or so while you wait, especially if it's your first time traveling with it.

I know the approval times for I-485 are getting better but I applied for mine in Dec. 2002 and received the approval a couple of days ago (Feb 2005).
