After an enduring long wait, I recevied aproval emails for my family and myself on May 5th.

My case details are:

Service Center: Texas Category: EB3
Application Mailed: 15 Feb 2005 USCIS Received Date: 18 Feb 2005
USCIS Notice Date: 18 Feb 2005 Filing Type: concurrent
I-140 Processing: regular I-140 Approval Date: 01 Apr 2005
Fingerprinting Date 1: 15 Mar 2005 Fingerprinting Date 2: 09 May 2007
No RFE

I have received an email from CRIS.

>>Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

>>Current Status: Card production ordered.

>>On May 7, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

Does this mean that my greencard is approved and will soon be on the way to me ?

You must have received email a day before card production ordered stating Notice sent. Search for all emails from CRIS. Some times the approval notice is not sent and card production ordered is sent direct.

In less than a week, you will receive another email stating card mailed.

In any case, ENJOY YR FREEDOM.

Thanks. Yes, I got surprised to see a "card production ordered" mail before "notice sent" email. CRIS has gone wild and has sent me at least 8 emails (for me and spouse) re this.

BTW, a friend of mine in my office got his magic emails from CRIS yesterday. His was EB2, June 2006. I hope all of you get your greencards very soon.
