Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. Looks like in your case, NSC went by PD.
Other cases look like RD .... Its all so random !

It all depends on your luck. NO PD/RD is going to help you. Calling NSC is also serves no problem. I guess we have to wait for our turn to come . I hope by that EB3 don't becaome unavailable.

I am new to NSC discussion thread, my I-140 & 485 got transferred to NSC (from VSC) last friday after nearly waiting for 2 years. Thought of checking on NSC discussion forums and saw your message first. Its very good to see fellow member to finally receive approval. Congrats again.

Chicago_sunny, have to read/heard about any case that was recently moved to NSC from VSC. Is it a good thing? Kindly forward me to the forum thread if any exists, for these kind of case. Thanks in advance.

May I ask how you found out your case was assigned to an officer? Was there any LUDs from the time it was assigned and when it's approved?

I made a call to 1-800-.... (you knew) and VERY FORTUNATELY reach a sweet, nice Immigration Office lady who is ready to give such info. The next couple days I called again to double check and unfortunately reach the coldly customer service who denied to give more info besides the standard info from "check your status online". Brieftly, it depends on your luck.

No LUD from the day is is assigned. See my signature for the day I called and got approved.
