april visa bulletin

Dont know how to feel, about F1 jumped one week ahead from March. Its like someone gives you a drop of water in Sahara and you happy for a moment. Sorry, but I dont feel happy, because looking at bulletin every month, will only rise your blood pressure for many months, years ahead! Unless Congress will do the work, to increase visa number for relatives!!!What are the hell are they doing, all the Politics, next year elections? Hell< I need it now! I need my family with me today, everyday, but not years apart:( :(

yea i hear ya, but i wount complain this month, cause fb4 moved 1 month and 22 days i think, which is very damn gud for me, even though i have 3 more years of waiting, but its still brings me in much closer. maybe next month will bring everyone some good news. till then stop worrying about it, and enjoy, spring might b here finally:confused:

yeah, i heard a lot of talk that when fb1 passed may01 it would be moving much faster; lets see what the future brings.
im quite pessimistic though

Yeah, I think you got that almost right, you could see fast movement in F1 begining next month or May, It seems the bulk of the backlog is now cleared for the 245i(s). Come October it will be even get faster moving by a month or two each bulletin.

I will go out on a limb and say the long wait is coming to a end.

it would be about time after 1 1/2 years beeing desperately stuck.
i personaly dont belive there will be a faster moving but it would make me very happy if they just continue their work like before the 245i-thing.

Waited for 4 and half years my children live with me! When I was a permanent resident I petitioned I-130 for my children, unmarried in March, 2003.
Last year had my US Citizenship and changed to 1st category. And when I look at bulletin every month, make me sick! For one and half years 1st priority dint moved ahead for years and now coming one week ahead!
With this tempo you wil not see your children or loved ones in another 4 years or so.

just curious, what makes you think so?..

You got to remember that F1 was moving nicely only to stall in April 2001 priority dates, because that was the time alot of people were taking advantage of the amnesty being offered at that time, cause the deadline was approching. We should all expect no movement for a long time during that period of processing cause 24,000 yearly visa was'nt enough to share, now that the bulk of the backlog (245i's)is cleared, you will now see F1 moving at its pre April 2001 rate at a mouth or more at each bulletin. The movement can start by the next bulletin or May, it all depends upon the amount of late 245i's that was mailed before April 30, 2001 but reach the USCIS in May. Remember USCIS process all family based applications, not DOL that has alot of backlog to be cleared that is causing problems especially for EB3 worker category.

I am willing to bet anyone that F1 will at anytime be moving at a month or two at each bulletin begining in next few months, so those people with 2001 and 2002 priority dates can stop worrying a bit.

wht about f4????? i want it to jump, not just move, but literally jump. i got very very happy when in october it JUMPED 6 months. i luv october. hehe:D , but its soooo far. and my pd for f4 is oct 1999:eek:
