140 approved for CP. Papers are in India.
On this discussion board, I was 140Sufferer when I filed for I140. After that I changed my name to 485Sufferer when I filed for I485. Before few days when the March cases started getting approved, I changed my name to GCInTheSignt .. and now it will be in real sight.

What was the reason for changing name in the same status ?
How do you know that your I-140 papers are still in India?

Changed my name to suite with the current conditions.. i.e. 140-485
Tried to be optimistic that the sufferings will be over and the GC is almost in the sight.

I called long time back to NVC to find out where my papers had gone. They told me that they sent the papers to India in May 01. Since the case got approved quickly, I do not believe that INS had asked to get back those papers.
