No move for OC, shame. Wonder if it'll increase now that SYD are doing interviews.
Exactly…. I mean look at all the other regions….they just keep going higher and higher but that isn’t the case with Oceania…I am frustrated but hopefully maybe it goes current next month as it was the same for the last few years so I am hoping it’s the same year this year.Would be nice if they just made it current anyway -- you know, AOS and all. An easy way for them to up the issued count for the year.
It's nuts isn't it. THat gut at AF177XXX must be nervous. They really don't like those people at the tail end, do they...? cases not current: AF - 29, AS - 228, EU - 142
If Sydney is now doing interviews then this could be a reason why OC has not increased. Maybe to allow Sydney interviews to catch up? The holes rate in OC is rather high so I am guessing that they can interview all winners during the 2022 fiscal year. For instance the Suva (Fiji) embassy is really up to date with their interviews. My guess is that OC and other regions will all be Current in June as in previous years. No move for OC, shame. Wonder if it'll increase now that SYD are doing interviews.
I can see there are only 3 cases sitting as 'ready' at the SYD consulate based on the latest CEAC data.
Check out this website for more informationSorry, how can I see how many holes OC has, and probably more interestingly how many cases are above the current 1200 number?
Regarding Suva embassy, you are right. What I meant though is that even before the May VB was released last week, the Suva embassy had already sent out 2NL's to case numbers up to 1190. This is what I meant by Suva embassy being up to date with their interviews. If you compare Suva embassy with other embassies in the US region, you will notice that it seems to be the one processing the highest number of cases.Very helpful thanks. Yes, looks like the holes rate averages around 40% for numbers above OC1200, but some case numbers out there as high as 2600. So I guess you could say there are around 600 addl. OC cases (not current) that could take advantage of this. Interesting.
Also looks like Suva are doing more than their fair share. Good on them. But they have only actually issued 60 so far, and do still have a lot of cases sitting in 'ready' status to get through.

This is outside the norm but if I remember correctly, the 2NL'S for these case numbers were sent out early this year. You can check it out if you download the excel file from the website I sent you. There is also another website to check out which britsimon has also mentioned here, I forgot the link. Also, how is it possible to have an OC case between 1300-1400 at the moment in AP stage? Bad data, or there is a chance that bulletin numbers aren't respected by all embassy's?
You saw the page, but you clearly haven't understood how the data is being gathered. If you doubt it, you can verify it independently by using official CEAC goverment site: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV... Bad data ...
Again. See above and check: 2022AS1366, 2022OC60, 2022OC119, 2022OC175.This is the only evidence I've seen that interviews are getting scheduled for DV22 @ SYD -

Check cases: 2022OC1232 and 2022OC1303. Yes, they were scheduled above the cutoff in VB.
