nirmal, I am in the same boat. Did you have FP2? I think we are extremely unlucky and few people are left without approval because our files are lost/hidden under the table. :mad:

you can add more adjectives. As Mohinder Amarnath said about selectors....we can USCIS personnel are 'bunch of Jokers'.

No 2nd FP yet, I had my first on 23-may-2003, still waiting for 2nd one, I think 18 month clause is also did not apply for me. I called INS the other day, he took all my info and it seems they will get back to me soon.

I called my attorney, stupid paralegal says ""processing time that are showing on USCIS is mistake :) ". I said just check immigration.com and you will know how many got cleared in May 2003 and June 2003.

I keep my fingers crossed.

April Month is cursed!!

It appears that filers in April 2003 month are cursed. If you guys still remember what happened during the period 'last of week of April 2003 and last week of May 2003', it explains our problems.

while sending out finger print notices for April filers, VSC had problems sending out duplicate notices. They tried to correct it, and finally stopped sending out notices. That's why many April filers got their first FP in Jan 2004. In this confusion VSC forgot to ask for name checks for some unfortunate April filers.

So it will be left to elected representatives to follow up our cases. Let us wish all the best for ourselves.
 
I did not get it at first....then called for address change and then that triggered the FP2. But hartford fingerprint office is so unfriendly and useless, gave me a date that is not possible for me to go...went for early fingerpriniting twice...but they kicked me out. I am waiting for my FP2 to be done and then start inquiry.

One question: I heard from somebody that if I do inquiry, they may send it to local office, is that true? Thanks.

Dude You atleast had FP1, there are so many unlucky fellows like me who did not get FP1 even after 18 months of filing 485.

Atleast you are in better positon than some oen like me.

Ahh477...

If somehow if you could get them send the finger print notice, your case would be done within a time frame of 30 to 60 days.

try applying EAd first, then AP, senators....give them a wake up alarm one after another not allowing them to snooze on the case.

RFE was issued on 11/17 for my case. I got the RFE details (DOB, W2s, Paystubs. copy of passport). I am collecting the docs to reply the RFE.

Mine is EB2 and April RD

I gave Fp2 along with my other family members on September 1st. However my first daughter's Fp2 is rescheduled for December 18th. There is no change in message. It still says FP1 received on May 12 2003. I don't know what is happening?

I don't know what is happening for april filers. I have requested name check 3 times from Oct 14' 2004 to till date no response from fbi and made a status inquiry on 11/16/04 no response from uscis either..........
