I-485 RFE (employment verification): 9/04

I-485 AD: 3/31/05
PP stamp: 4/15/05
CO: 4/27/05
Waiting to receive the plastic card....

after passport stamping, you can travel
without a visa, just show the pp with stamp.
Your plastic "green" card comes later.

After pp stamping, you may get e-mails from BCIS as follows:
CO: card ordered
CM: card mailed
then, the plastic card arrives about 3 days later.

When I was for PP stamping, I was told I would
receive the plastic card within 3-9 months.
However, TSC is speeding up process so that
most people receive it within 1 months after
pp stamping.

Next step after that ?
NONE.
Just enjoy freedom, and focus on more important
things than neverending wait and worries about paperwork,
restrictions, harassments at POEs, and so on......

I hope you will get your approval soon.

TSC had made good progress to reduce
backlogs and processing times:
let's hope they will continue so.
