April 02 RD - RFE sent

Just got an email from USCIS saying RFE was sent on 5/28. Doesn't say what RFE is about but I suspect employment verification. I recently called USCIS as I have EAD pending since 1/02 so not sure if RFE has been trigerred by the call or not.

I changed jobs last month but it shouldn't be a problem as the jobs are same or similar. Has anyone responded to RFE themselves indicating a job change under AC21? Was it a smooth process? What was included in the response?

Hi,
Is this employment verification RFE going to be used to check into whether your salary is the same as stipulated in the Labor Document?
If my salary is less than 10% of the labor salary rate then I shouldnt have any issues right?
Like if my salary was 75K and I get 68K do I have to worry about an RFE? Will the Employment Verification RFE address thsi salary disparity also, or is that a seperate issue?

I have not received the RFE yet but as far as I am aware, salary isn't usually the primary concern. The AC21 act states that the job should be the same or similar. Most people take that to mean that the duties should be the same or similar rather than the salary but as USCIS haven't published a rule everyone is basically guessing. I'm not aware of any RFE's that have adressed salary specifically but if anyone has please post here.

For what it's worth I wouldn't have thought +/- 10% would be significant but this is only my opinion and not a fact.
