Appt Letter

Hi Guys...
In case I don\'t get my appt letter on time, can I take the web appt print for the medicals??
Will the Chennai consulate issue \'duplicate\' appt letters (form - 174?)? If so, at what time and what documents should I produce to get an appt letter?? Not sure when my letter will arrive here.
Any response will be appreciated...
