Hi Friends,

Can anyone please answer this question. I don't have enough time left on my H1. I have been hearing rumors that GC process can be completed in 9 months - 1 year. Do you guys think this to be possible or can i treat this as their mere speculation. If possible , how and what might be the procedure. Please advice.

Thanks in advance

Big line

Dude,

There is a big a** line for GC’s. Usually it is taking minimum of 2 years (if everything goes well) or max 3-5 years to get GC. No matter in what category you apply it is gonna take minimum of 1-5 – 2 years to get GC. You best bet would be to file labor in EB-2 or EB-3 category and go for consular processing since you are on H-1b. Consular processing cuts the total time by 8-9 months.

Good Luck,

RamFan
