Hello all,
I want to thank you all for being so generous in sharing information. My case has been approved...details below for your information. I've updated rupnet (user 'KA'). It just so happens that I lucked out of the capriciousness of the whole process...so don't bother to congratulate. But I wish a successful imminent coup de grace to your wait. You all are very smart people, and I had immense pleasure interacting/arguing/debating/conversing with you.

Just a small question? Were you asked to submit all the paystubs since your the time your I-140 was approved or did you submit all the paystubs in response to RFE ? Could you please let us know.

I did not submit any pay stubs. Just these (along with a letter from my employer stating that their offer as described in my labor certification application still stands, and indicating my current title/salary):

- Copy of earlier H1-B approval
- Copy of two EADs

...to prove that my employment so far was legit. I don't recall the exact words, but I think it was something like they wanted to know if I was authorized to work all along.

Congratulations!

Existentialist -

You probably got the best Xmas gift of all - a long and hard earned approval. Now, enjoy your holiday season! You definitely deserve a hearty congratulations for all of us here.

After a few years with the INS's version of caprice, I almost forgot that unpredictability can sometimes have appealing consequences as well. Thanks for the reminder. Good-luck.
