This forum has been an excellent source of information throughout this ordeal I wish all of you the very best of luck in getting your approvals really soon.
By the way, can anyone share their stamping experience. What do we need to take with us?
Thanks.

AD ???

Congrats, and its great to see a 2001 approval! This is all we should be seeing from TSC right now.

My RD is a couple of weeks before yours, maybe your EAD renewal sparked interest in your file.

All the best!

Arcdocs, I remember your messages about you never rec'd the RFE and TCS was expecting an reply to your RFE.

Congrats , and best wishes.
Please tell us what was your RFE about ?

Thank you all for your kind wishes.
The RFE was about 2 issues:

1) Back in 2001 when I did my medical exam, my skin test was positive. The officer just wanted to make sure that I was definitely negative for TB. I got a letter from the local health department that certified that.
2) At the time of filing the 485 in July 2001, my lawyer inadvertently did not submit a copy of my first I-94 from back in 1998 when I first entered the country. The officer wanted to make sure that I was always in status during my entire stay in the US. I simply sent a copy of that I-94 and a copy of my H1B approval notice to prove that I was always in status.

The only time I approached a senator's office was when the RFE that they sent me on 08/Aug/03 got lost in the mail and after sending 5 letters and making 10 calls to the 800 number I was not getting any results. Finally, due to the senator's office they re-mailed the RFE on 14/Oct/03.

Hope this helps.
