How long you had to wait after submitting the RFE reply. Have you spoken to IIO ? Has it been pending with an officer all this time...Please share your experience.

BCIS received my RFE reply on Feb 22 and no word after that. I called several times and conflicting answers. Most of the time I got the answer like "your case is assigned to an officer on March 6th and could take months" .

I forgot to mention a few details about my case:

PD: 05/10/00
FP: 04/09/02
RFE Received by INS: 09/28/02
AD: 04/07/03

It took BCIS more than 6 months to approve my case after they received my RFE response. The reasons could be the ‘Freeze’ in Dec and Jan and additional security checks after that. Or may be my case was with an officer who was just too slow!
