All the best for your next stage. Have you filed I-485/EAD/AP? If so, can you please post your RDs and status of EAD/AP?

I have recently got my Labor cleared and am applying for 140 and 485 concurrently in EB2 category.I have a question regarding the EAD .Does the 140 needs to be approved inorder to get the EAD ?Any idea on processing time of EAD.

Usually the EAD doc says that it takes 60 to 75 days to clear the EAD, but for some reasons they are not approving the EAD until 140 gets cleared, but from what i heard from my lawyer is the EAD is issued regardless of your 140 , she said that they actually take a look at your 140 and if every thing seems to be okay they will just approve the EAD..,

So you might get EAD before your 140

But if you get your EAD then you may assume that your 140 might get cleared

Filing I140 and I485 together?

Hi,

Is there any problem in filing I-140 and I-485 together. I heard that there is more probability of getting RFE on I-140 if you file both together.

Please suggest. I am waiting for I-140 approval and it seems like it will take long. Should I file I-485 or wait until I-140 gets approved.
