Hi,
I am glad to share with you that I checked AVM this weekend and I heard the magical words that my case was approved on 1/10/2002. I couldn’t believe it and thought I hit some wrong numbers. Checked again and pinched to check if it was real. Yes, it was really a great surprise! I checked for my family (wife and kids -10 and 11 years) and glad that we are all approved. Thanks a lot for all the info on this board and this was very helpful and very informative.
I want to pay my respects at the Lotus feet of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as this was just possible only with His Grace and Love! Thank you Swami.
I wish you all very best and God Bless you all. I am sure you will have it very soon.

Question: How long does it take normally to receive the approval copy?

My details:
PD : 01/8/2001 (EB2 – RIR – Chicago, Country – India.)
I40: October 2001.
Waited for 3 months for dates to become current.
(EB2 dates were not current until Feb 2001)
RD: 2/8/2001
ND: 3/18/2001.
FP: 5/5/2001.
EAD/AP : June 2001
Approval (on AVM): 1/10/2002(Yet to get copy)
LIN: 01-121-53XXX

I do not think so , luck is knocking on EB2 doors !!!

Dear Friends, mine is EB2, India, waiting for more than 16 months, I mean 470 days, still I have yet to see the sun shine , I think no one can predicts the style and functioning of INS, specially NSC. They are very WEIRD, UNPREDICTABLE, they will not roll the cases on FIRST IN & FIRST OUT BASIS, probably KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN will follow the Q system while waiting for the school bus.
Thanks,
ramukesi

gcwaiting10, May be you are not all that lucky. But, your RD/ND are not as bad as many with 09/00 &a

All those with dates before 01/01 and 02/01

Don\'t work the phone for couple of weeks and don\'t come to this board for couple of weeks. Then come back, you might see your cases approved. Sometimes it works. Also, this way you will enjoy it more when you get it.

Good luck to you all.

answer to 5thyear NSC

5thyear NSC, NO, my I 140 was not approved for CP at all. I am pretty sure about this, nor I have any time asked my attorney to apply for CP. On this board at least 15 persons still waiting with my RD/ND, U can see that info under the thread of SEPT 2000 ND WAITER PL SHARE THE INFO WHICH WAS FIRST POSTED BY ME.

Thanks,
ramukesi
