LIN-01-124-54xxx

EB2 China

RFE came with FP notice.

This board helped me to go through the whole process. Thanks a lot and good luck all.

P.S. My husband\'s case got approved at the same time.

Please confirm your lin#

Congratulations!!!

A question: can you confirm the last five digit of your lin#
starts with 54? My ND is 3/2/02 but lin # is 01-116-55xxx.
Why would my ND is earlier than yours but lin# seems to be
larger than yours? I understand the first "5" represents one
of the systems INS is using, but shouldn\'t the second and the
remaining 3 digits indicate the time sequence of case receipts?
Can anyone help me understand? I wish this is not another NSC
screw-up, which may actually help explain why some March and
beyond cases have been approved. Hopefully I am wrong.

I had the same question? My LIN#-01-067 with ND 01/02/2001.

Il_wang,
Congrats. Please clarify your LIN# and ND and RDs.
Thx for posting.

Please see detailed LIN information under ...

discussion topic "Significance of LIN #" which is about a couple of days old under the same I-485/Nebraska Service Center folder. You should be able to search for it.

That still doesn\'t explain the second digit.

I saw those earlier posts before, and I said I understand the
last 4 digit represent the case number, which should be in
time sequence unless someone can further clarify. My question
here is that the last 4 digit of II_Wang\'s Lin # seems to be
smaller than mine though my ND is earlier than her. That\'s
why I am asking II_Wang to confirm her Lin, and possibly RD
and ND too.

Based on this, the last 5 digit may not be in Increasing order...So, as long as NSC does not duplica
